Used Apple iPhone 3GS 32GB - Black : Orange

The iPhone 3GS was the follow up to the iPhone 3G: The first iPhone to take the worldwide market seriously.

So what’s been upgraded? Apart from the design, virtually everything! In fact the dimensions of the iPhone 3GS is identical to the iPhone 3G down to the nearest tenth of a millimetre; it’s amazing they managed to upgrade so much without compromising on space!

What’s been upgraded: -

• 600MHz Cortex-A8 CPU,
• Memory doubled to 256MB,
• GPU is a PowerVR SGX535; same beast that powers the iPhone 4,
• Storage size now offers a 32GB option,

The camera has also seen a bump in specs: now a 3.15MP camera that is capable of video recording.

iOS 3 is installed, however it is upgradable to iOS 6: the latest iOS from Apple! It’s remarkable that Apple are still putting life into this device when it’s normally the case that Apple like to retire products so they can push their latest gadgets; really shows that the iPhone 3GS stands up well against other modern phones.

The iPhone 3GS also offers integration with iCloud, Twitter and Facebook. The Appstore also allows you to download a multitude of apps direct to your phone. Nearly 275,000 are available, many of which are free!

A device born 3 and a half years ago, but still holds its own today!
