What's Your Returns & Replacements Policy?
We operate a no quibble 7 day returns policy. Just return item in original condition and we will make the refund same day as item is received back. Please note that we are unable to accept returns from users who have attempted software upgrades which have gone wrong.
What About Warranty?
If manufacturer warranty applies to your device, then information will be provided on the product page. Note that some manufacturer's require original purchase receipt from the first owner of the device (Apple and HTC do NOT require this) and therefore warranty status is often NOT officially covered. Please bear ths in mind. However; stating the item is a gift can, in some cases, enable you to use warranty service if required. There is no need to "activate" or register your product for warranty as it will already be currently active if applicable.
How Do I View My Order?
Once you have placed an order with Freedom Mobiles you can login and view your invoice, tracking information, and any special e-notes from our customer service team. You will automatically receive a dispatch email containing tracking information at the time when your item is packed and sent. You can check the status of the shipment on royalmail.com or Fedex.com
Where Do You Get Your Mobiles From?
We source our stock from suppliers and contacts we have established over our many years in the Mobile Phone industry. There is a high chance that your mobile will be an unwanted corporate upgrade. Note that unless clearly stated, your mobile is NOT a repaired device or reconditioned mobile. It will have no evidence of internal or external repair work.
The Description Says "New" ... Dont You Sell "Used" Mobiles?
Freedom Mobiles are NOT official resellers of factory issued phones. This means we are FREE to sell at whatever price we decide for any of our stock. Even if your device has never been touched, it is on paper at least, "pre-owned" as you will not be the first owner. What is the difference between an officially sold mobile and a Freedom Mobile....? Other than sometimes a few marks (often condition is actually new).... absolutely nothing. Where else can you buy the latest mobiles with such confidence and great service?
I'm Worried About Blacklisted Mobiles....
Dont be...
We are so confident of our sourcing and suppliers that we offer industry leading 2 year Blacklist Protection. If at ANY point after your purchase the phone becomes blacklisted we will replace it for you within 7 days. Blacklisting means the mobile can no longer connect to a network even though the phone is still physically working. This is an unavoidable risk with ANY used mobile but make sure you choose a reputable retailer to minimise your risk. Fortunately with Freedom Mobiles, we've got you covered.
How Do I Pay?
Ordering with Freedom Mobiles is very easy; simply pay with your Paypal account or with your credit card via the Paypal website (Paypal account not required). Please note we can only ship to the billing address of your Paypal account or credit card.
What Does Sim Free Mean?
Very simply "Sim Free" or "Sim Unlocked" means that the phone can be used on ANY network with ANY sim card. You do not need an unlocked handset however if your current network that you use is the same as the phone you are buying. Most phones can be unlocked with an 8 digit code if required. The notable exceptions to this are the Iphone and Palm phones which require to be unlocked with special software.
Can I Buy This Mobile For My Insurance Policy?
Probably yes, although you need to check with your insurer what steps are needed to ensure you are covered. Normally you simply need the proof of purchase but some insurers will insist that the device you purchase is brand new. Freedom Mobiles has always advised customers that mobile phone insurance is poor value and smart shoppers simply don't bother with the hassle. Over the course of several years, even if you do lose or break your phone you are very likely to pay more in insurance premium than the value of your handset. Not to mention the best efforts of your insurer to avoid the pay out.
