The HTC 7 Pro features a slide-out keyboard for those who can’t quite get used to the general migration towards everything having touch screens. It’s the first of its kind to run Windows Phone 7 and just manages to improve on the HTC Desire Z, which features a similar keyboard slider but runs on Android.
Unlike the Android OS which is customisable by the manufacturer (and everyone else for that matter), Windows Phone 7 is virtually identical on all smartphones running it. If you’ve never had a play around with a Smartphone running Windows Phone 7 then it may take a little getting used to as it has a very different feel to Apple’s iOS or Google’s Android, but if you like minimalist coloured squares then it could be for you.
The 7 Pro features a 5.0 MP camera capable of 720p video, 8GB of internal storage (sorry folks, no MicroSD card slot), a 1GHz processor and over half a GB or RAM; that’ll be plenty.
